Delegate Barbara Comstock's Statement on Congressman Wolf's Retirement
McLean, VA- Delegate Barbara Comstock (R-34) released the following statement on Congressman Frank Wolf's retirement:
"Today, I want to thank Congressman Frank Wolf for his many years of service to the people of Northern Virginia. He has long been a voice for the voiceless - and all of those of us who have worked for him and with him commend him for a lifetime of fighting for his constituents with distinction and diligence and working for religious freedom, human rights and exposing the crime of human trafficking. He has rightfully been called the 'conscience of the Congress' by all who have been privileged to work with him and it is wonderful to know he will continue to work on these issues about which he is so passionate.
"Frank has been a great blessing to our District and has been a role model for all of us who serve in Virginia. Having worked on Frank's staff, as well as having worked with him when I was a senior Justice Department official, and now as his Delegate, I have always looked to him for his wisdom, experience and guidance.
"We in the 10th District have been privileged to have Frank Wolf, a man of great character, serve our District with such integrity for these many years. I look forward to the many contributions that I know Frank Wolf will continue to make to the causes of religious freedom and human rights and I look forward to working with him on those issues for years to come."
