Delegate Barbara Comstock Endorsed by
Virginia Association of Realtors
McLean, VA - The Virginia Association of Realtors recently made their endorsement of Delegate Barbara Comstock for re-election to the House of Delegates in the 34th District.
Delegate Comstock issued the following statement:
"I am pleased to once again receive the endorsement of the Virginia Association of Realtors. The housing industry is a vital part of our economy and revitalizing the housing market is essential to a full economic recovery. Expanding home ownership also provides stability and prosperity in communities throughout the Commonwealth. I look forward to continuing to work with the real estate agents in my District as well as the Virginia Association of Realtors to keep our real estate market strong and prosperous."
The Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) is a bipartisan group that supports candidates that understand the importance that real estate has on our local economy.
In 2011, Delegate Comstock served as the Chairman of the Housing sub-committee on the General Laws Committee and worked on key issues important to the Housing industry.
According to their webpage, RPAC goes through a lengthy process to choose the candidates that deserve their endorsement on behalf of their membership. They only select candidates that support, "realtors and property owners," and they only consider candidates who are fighting for property rights and real estate issues. RPAC endorses Republicans, Independents, and Democrats based solely on the candidates positions that affect housing.
