McLean, VA The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s TechPAC and
Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce’s NOVABizPAC recently made their
endorsements of Delegate Barbara Comstock for re-election to the House of
Delegates in the 34th District.
In response to the endorsements, Delegate
Comstock noted, “Keeping our business
community strong is a top priority for Northern Virginia. I am proud to have
the support of those who are creating jobs and prosperity for our area.”
This year the General Assembly passed
Delegate Comstock’s Telework Tax Credit and the Research and Development Tax
Credit of which Delegate Comstock was the Chief-Co Patron of. Both of the bills
were considered top priorities for Northern Virginia’s tech and business
communities.
“Delegate Comstock has a record of
working closely with our tech community and supporting initiatives that are
important to the creation of jobs in Northern Virginia,” said Dendy
Young, TechPAC Chairman and Chairman and CEO of McLean Capital, LLC. “She understands the importance of creating an environment
in Northern Virginia that promotes private sector job creation and provides a
competitive advantage to companies that drive technology innovation.”

The Northern Virginia Technology
Council (NVTC) is the largest technology council in the nation, serving close
to 1000 companies and representing about 200,000 employees in the region.
Formed by NVTC Board of Directors in 2001, TechPAC allows Northern
Virginia technology businesses to speak as a community in collectively
supporting strong pro-technology, pro-business candidates for office.
Serving Fairfax County since 1925 the Fairfax Chamber of
Commerce provides over 500 member companies and their employees, opportunities
to develop and strengthen business and community partnerships in Northern

and support candidates throughout the state, whose positions, policies and
initiatives best reflect the priorities and interests of Northern Virginia's
technology and business community. Candidates are evaluated based on
