McLean, VA – Delegate Comstock’s office
released the following information about two upcoming Lyme Disease Awareness Events
and issued the following statement:
“I am happy to see that the Lyme Disease Task Force is
getting all around the state to gather more information about the scourge of Lyme
Disease in Virginia and that we have more education efforts going on also. I was proud to introduce HJ 643, this
year, which will permanently designate May as ‘Lyme Disease Awareness Month.’ Both the House of Delegates and the
Senate passed the bill unanimously.”

Tuesday, March 22 from 7-10 PM. Anyone

MAY 5 Lyme Disease Awareness Program Held In Ashburn
A Lyme Disease Awareness program will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011
from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church (43115 Waxpool Road,
Ashburn, VA 20148). The program features local expert Samuel Shor, MD,
FACP, plus a special screening of the award-winning documentary Under Our
Skin. Dr. Shor is a member of Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell
's Lyme Disease Task Force. More
