Celebrating the Life of Dan Bannister 

I join those throughout Northern Virginia and the Commonwealth mourning the loss of Dan Bannister, one of the most respected leaders in our business and technology community who also enriched our social, entrepreneurial and philanthropic communities.  A memorial visitation will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd, on Thursday March 17, 2011 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. A celebration of Dan's life will be held at McLean Bible Church, 8925 Leesburg Pike at 12 noon on Friday March 18, 2011, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Joe Gibbs' Youth for Tomorrow, Easter Seals, or Equal Footing Foundation.  Read the CIT press release here.
