Delegate
Comstock On The
Ninth Anniversary Of The 9/11 Attacks
McLean, VA - On September 11, 2001, we experienced an unimaginable tragedy
and evil, not only for our nation, but right in our local community, where we
lost husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, children, friends and loved ones. On
this solemn day of remembrance, we keep the heroes and victims and their
families and friends in our thoughts and prayers. We continue to be awed by the
countless acts of courage and heroism on that day and since, by our citizens,
police, firefighters, first responders, and our servicemen and
women in harms way who continue the difficult work of preventing terrorist
attacks. Our community honors and mourns those heroes who lost their lives on
that day and since, fighting for our country and defending our freedom. May God
always bless our great country and those who defend her.
