MWAA To Hold Three Public Meetings on Dulles Toll Road Fee Increases

Dear Friends,
I have heard from many of you in the past few months regarding proposed fee increases on the Dulles Toll Road, and wanted to direct you to a recent press release from the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority.

Currently, the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority is having a 30 day public comment period about the proposed toll increases on the Dulles Toll Road. MWAA reports that currently, the average commuter in a 2-axle vehicle pays $2.25 at the main plaza and ramp tolls. This fee is expected to increase to $2.75 in 2013, $3.50 in 2014, and $4.50 in 2015.Collected toll monies will continue to help fund the operating costs of the Toll Road and the construction of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.

For MWAA's complete press release and for additional information should you wish to comment on the toll increases, please click here. Please note that public comments may be submitted online or through the mail (to this address) until September 16th, or in person at one of three upcoming public hearings listed below:
