Virginia "Women for Mitt" Events In Loudoun And
Fairfax Brought Out Hundreds of Supporters
On July 24, we held "Women
for Mitt" Events in Loudoun and Fairfax County that drew hundreds of supporters
and volunteers. We were joined by Beth Myers, the former Chief of Staff to
Governor Romney when he served as Governor who is now serving as a Senior
Advisor working on the Vice Presidential vetting, as well as former First Lady
Susan Allen, Carolyn Wolf, Tiero Cuccinnelli, and Jean Ann Bolling.
Big thanks also go to our
hosts for our events - Nina May in McLean and Leo Lugo in Sterling who hosted us
at his new restaurant "El Sol Azteca". If you are in Sterling, check out this
new Sterling restaurant!

Policy Roundtable with Romney for President Policy
Director, Lanhee Chen, Draws Local Business Leaders
On
July 18, we had a great Policy Roundtable event with Romney for President Policy
Director, Lanhee Chen, and many local business leaders and supporters. Lanhee,
a son of Taiwanese immigrants from California, holds four degrees from
Harvard-a bachelor's, a law degree, a master's, and a Ph.D. and is most
commonly described as "brilliant". He understands the value of hard work
because he's done it!
We
were hosted by Mike Jing, President of Cyberdata Technologies in Herndon. We
heard about the great contrast between Romney policies and the failed Obama
policies of the past 3 years that have brought us 16 trillion in debt and
sustained unemployment over 8%. Our NOVA Business Leaders know that it is time
for a turnaround and Mitt Romney is the President we need in 2013 to get the job
done!

Team Romney Joins Celebration Of Asian Festival
On July 21 and July 22, Team
Romney had a major effort at the Asian Festival held at George Mason
University. We had Asian business leaders, our Asian American outreach team,
and volunteers represented at our table and had a great response throughout the
weekend. We also participated in the Asian Pacific Islander Presidential Debate
where former Congressman Tom Davis and I
introduced a Romney video that was made specifically for the
debate.
Politico covers our Asian
American efforts in Virginia here:
