Scheduled tax increases will hinder recovery
9.30.2010. The Congressional Budget Office now acknowledges that the January scheduled tax increases will hurt our recovery. Extending the current tax relief is not only supported by almost all Republicans, but by over 35 or more Democrats in the House of Representatives who now support extending all the current tax relief in order to help economic growth. This year, in Virginia, we got it right – we cut back on spending and didn’t increase taxes. We essentially observed Washington and did the opposite. Story about the CBO
