McLean, VA - Barbara Comstock, candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates for the 34th District, won the endorsement of the Virginia chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors on Friday.

Patrick Dean, President of the Virginia Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, stated, "Throughout her entire life in public service and now in her role as a small businesswoman, Barbara Comstock has been a tireless advocate for lower taxes, less onerous regulations, free enterprise, and the merit shop philosophy. These are the policies that will create jobs and improve the economy across the Commonwealth. That is why we proudly endorse Barbara Comstock for Delegate." 

"I am pleased to earn the endorsement of the Associated Builders and Contractors," stated Comstock. "We agree that small business owners are in the best position to make the business decisions that will spearhead job growth and economic opportunity for all Northern Virginians. Protecting our right-to-work legislation will help small businesses like many of those in the construction industry take the lead in rejuvenating our economy." 

The Virginia chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors is an association of general contractors, specialty contractors, material suppliers, and industry professionals who have organized to promote Virginia's commercial construction industry and to promote merit shop construction.  ABC-VA boasts more than 600 construction and construction-related companies in their membership.

Barbara Comstock is a candidate for Delegate in Virginia’s 34th House District which consists of McLean, Great Falls, and parts of Vienna and Herndon.
