Our second President, John Adams, wrote about how our Independence Day should be commemorated:Â
âIt ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.â
On Saturday, July 4th, throughout the 34th District, this is exactly what we witnessed! We hope you enjoyed your 4th of July weekend as much as we did.  It was great to see so many of our friends and neighbors at
the Great Falls parade, at the Vienna festival, and at the McLean Community Centerâs Fireworks Celebration at Langley High School.Â
