Nowhere is there a starker contrast between candidates in Virginia
this year than where they stand on the job killing “card check†bill which
would take away the secret ballot in union elections and take away the right to
freely negotiate a contract . At the recent Virginia FREE Debate, Bob
McDonnell was the only candidate to definitively oppose this bill which would
threaten Virginia’s economy and right to work, job friendly environment. (Watch

)Â Like Bob, Barbara stands firmly against this far out of the mainstream
bill – and you know who else opposes it? Labor icon, George
McGovern!
In the 34th District, our opponent has
received thousands of dollars in donations from the top unions pushing this
bill, including the SEIU, which is committed to undermining our right to work
laws. She also voted against right to work legislation this year.Â
In contrast, Barbara is
working to prevent  “card check†from passing, and she is a champion for Virginia’s right to work law and job
friendly environment. Â Â In these tough economic times, we cannot
afford special interest big labor policies that threaten our job friendly
